Buddy Orion

      Artist: Sara Avila
      Date Drawn: Wednesday 21, 2011
      Title: Buddy Orion
This is a picture that has been long awaited partially because of the fact that Sara wanted to make something awesome just for you 28 viewers, and also because of the fact that I was actually supposed to have it posted yesterday but didn't have time to (Sorry). The reason she drew this was because of the fact that she loves clouds and the reason why it's called Buddy Orion Is because Orion is actually a constellation that is in the background hidden behind the clouds which I thought was pretty cool.
Hope you enjoy, Happy blogging.

Random Sketchbook Page

      Artist: Jack Adams
Title: It Doesn't Really Have A Title
      Date Drawn: On Picture
These two pictures were drawn from Jack Adams, a senior  from Tepeyac. They're basically two pages of random sketches. The first one has lyrics for her band, and they are copy righted so no taking them or any other pictures that I will post or your ass will be sued. Anyway, the last picture is an abstract and also a random drawing that she did (she does a lot of those but they really look good). Hope you enjoy.

Autumn Trees

      Artist: Mariana Buzo
      Title: Autumn Trees
      Date Drawn: August 20th
This is also another  sketch drawn by Mariana Buzo from Tepeyac, she didn't tell me much about it. I just think it looks pretty, Not all art has to have some sort of significant meaning to it that the author has to think about. Sometimes its just for fun, and most of the time its the people who actually view the art that give the meaning to it.

Freshman Year Art

Artist: Elisa Gonzalez
Date taken: Freshman year, Have no idea when I took it... It was four years ago I can tell you that much
Title: Why don't you tell me?
This is a picture from an old sketch book that I had my freshman year of high school. I guess I drew this because I was having a very sickish day. You might not be able to see it very well but the tears are tainted with blood. It's supposed to mean that people only cry when they're in pain. I know  it's not really true but hey, I was 14, what do you expect? More pictures will be posted with in the next couple of days from other people. Firs you will see art from a student from Our Lady Of Tepeyac High School named Mariana Buzo, after that you will see art from Sarah Avila who is also from Tepeyac. Hope you enjoy.

Off Topic Blop Post On Technology: What Does It Mean?

This is blog that is in response to a Youtube video shown in My Computers IV class called "Did You Know?". My response to this video was that it was scary. It this video is correct about the future then we are all screwed. There are less and less people getting in Honor classes. there are more people getting pregnant and the world is advancing to much. We are focusing to much on technology while the rest of the world is struggling to keep up with other issues. Pretty soon we'll have computers that surpass the human mind. When that happens we'll all become those fat people in the spaceship from Wall-e. And we are all already fat enough as it is. U.S is one of the fattest countries in the world. Another thing that can happen is that robots will take over the world and use us as batteries like in the matrix. You people think I'm being funny. But I'm not.

We. Are. Screwed.

About The Blog

Hey, this is Elisa Gonzalez and I'm the creator of the blog Art From Now And Some From Then (I know the name isn't really that origonal). I'm basically going to be posting art pieces from students that go to Our Lady Of Tepeyac High School. I will be posting pictures from famous people from the past and some from today. I will be posting some work from tattoo artists and some from my own Sketchbook but not that many because its not about me but its about everyone else who wants to show what they can do .
